DrJoe Grose BVSc
Joe joined the Marsden Veterinary Surgery team in 1999. He had previously worked in NSW, Victoria and in the UK. Joe has a special interest in surgery in particular orthopaedics and soft tissue suergery. He has a busy household made up of three young boys (of the human variety) and a terrier X called “Bob” who came as a rescue dog from the RSPCA. Joe enjoys the client interaction and the vast variety of cases we see every day at the Surgery.
Dr Samantha Macuga BVSc
Samantha graduated from the University of Queensland Veterinary School. She has worked at Marsden Veterinary Surgery since graduating in 2004, apart from a six month period of leave to work in small animal veterinary surgeries in London. She is a proud mother of three gorgeous kids and owner of two crazy cats, Louis and Maximara, who are eight years old and are brother and sister from the RSPCA.
Dr Scott McIntosh BVSc
Scott graduated from the University of Queensland in 2005 and worked with small animals, horses and pigs before catching the travelling bug. He has recently returned from overseas after working and travelling around the UK countryside, but is happy to be back and working in his home town.
Dr James Osman BVSc MRCVS
James graduated from The University of Queensland and he has since worked in the UK in small animal practice. He has recently returned to Brisbane in 2015. James has a keen interest in exotic animal medicine and surgery as well as other types of small animal surgery. In his spare time James enjoys sea kayaking, fishing, car restoration and any other outdoor activity.
Dr Sebastian Hand BVSc (Hons), BPsychSci (Hons)
Sebastian graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 and has been practicing in Brisbane since that time. His interest areas are ophthalmology, internal medicine and pathology. He lives with three cats (Monty, Iggy and Tin Tin) and three rats. The rats and cats get on together very well!
