Christiana
My name is Christiana, I was born in Brisbane and I am from a family of 6 children. As a child I had always aspired to work with animals and so straight from year 12, I worked towards becoming a vet nurse. Within a year I was hired by Joe and Tim for their clinic at the marsden vet surgery where I have been happily working along with a bright and upbeat group since. Although I don’t own a farm full of animals I am a happy owner of two Chihuahua x doggies named Nacho and Salsa whom are much loved.

I started studying IT at University before realising that working with animals was where I wanted to build my career. I have always loved animals and was already a client of Marsden Vet Surgery before I started working here full-time in 2005. I am currently completing Certificate 4 in Vet Nursing. In my noisy household there are 4 cats – Mario, Solito, Alfie, Toby and 2 dogs – Angel and Lucy.
Michelle
I grew up in Brisbane and graduated from the University of Queensland in 2005 with a Bachelor of Applied Science: Veterinary Technology and Management. Through my early work years I rescued a noise phobic Shihtzu and she inspired my passion for animal behaviour. I pursued this in 2010 by completing post graduate studies in Veterinary Behavioural Medicine through the University of Sydney and I enjoy the challenge of taking on our behaviour cases. I have worked at Marsden Vets for many many years but these days you may only see me at the surgery 2-3 days a week. I now have my little humans to take care of as well as our family dog, a rescued Boxer cross named Rowdy and our 6 chooks. We also have a Bredli python named Sanchez who is over 6ft long (no he doesn’t know about the chooks!).

Hi, I’m Nikita. Growing up I spent a lot of time on my grandparents’ farm in New Zealand. I moved to Australia when I was 9 and have always wanted to work in the Veterinary industry. Upon graduating high school in 2011, I went on to study my certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and began full time work at the Marsden Veterinary Surgery as a certified vet nurse in late 2012. I currently own 4 dogs (soon to be 5) and 2 cats. I successfully compete in agility throughout Australia with my smallest dog, a chihuahua x dachshund and my border collies. I love my job and the people I work with and can’t wait to further my career in the animal industry.
